Minister Copping says “its our choice”?

In a GoA website posting to the public, in response to the open letter by Health Professionals United, Minister Copping writes “…The bottom line is that it remains your choice whether to be vaccinated – for yourself and for your kids, if you’re a parent…”.

According to the GoA mandated vaccine policy for employees, it is not our choice. If you choose not to be vaccinated, APS employees will be penalized financially and/or disciplined professionally. This is not a legal or even common-sense definition of consent. Minister Copping’s statement to the public is untrue for any employee who works under him.

Minister Copping’s reply to Health Professionals United (a group of over 4000 mostly nurses and several doctors) discounts their professional and scientific knowledge plus front line experience. Minister Copping is not a medical or health care professional, yet he refutes the science clearly presented and cross-referenced. Minister Copping has branded any group opposed to the AHS and APS mandated vaccination policy as anti-vaxxers, yet that is not the central issue. CONSENT and CHOICE are…
