Vaccine Exemption Deadline – What Now?

The MyAPSChoice Group is not offering you legal advise, but we have a recommendation based on our lawyer’s legal opinion and our combined experiences…

There are potential ramifications so you must be secure in your own CHOICE on how to address the vaccination exemption deadline of October 29th.

This is what most of us intend to do:

  • Nothing: do not complete the 1GX form and do not submit the Vaccine Exemption Package (either protected grounds or religious beliefs)
    • Because the MyAPSChocie Group’s lawyer has filed formal complaints to oversight authorities as well as a statement of claim and court order injunction against the AHS/GoA vaccine policy.
    • Because the MyAPSChoice Group is waiting to see what results will appear because of these actions.
    • Because you do NOT consent to anything that asks for personal details, information or your acknowledgement of the vaccination policy.
    • Because you may not have protected grounds as defined in the Alberta Human Rights Act that would permit you to be exempted.

  • Custom Submission: Email your exemption request using our WORD template or the wording from the Legal Opinion on October 28th (not before!) to VaccinationExemptionRequests@gov.ab.ca … only
    • If you expect to have a note from a doctor that says you have a medical disability (illness for allergy qualifies) or a mental disability (any disorder qualifies)… and/or
    • If you have personal religious beliefs that affect your conscience should you agree to the vaccination policy… and
    • If you are wiling to accept a work accommodation… and
    • If you understand that accepting an human rights accommodation may disqualify you from participating in future court litigation.
