The Government of Alberta senior leadership, and the Public Service Commission specifically offered the option for all GoA employees to request a Human Rights exemption as an alternative to being vaccinated as part of the GoA vaccine mandate policy.
It appears that almost no exemptions are being granted and the process is proven to be intrusive, unfair, dismissive, unqualified and bias. Besides the fact that the GoA is now in non-compliance with the Alberta Human Rights Act, the Public Service Commission has deviated from their promise.
