Everyone is welcome to join the MyAPSChoice.ca Group, whether or not you are an employee of the Government of Alberta or Alberta Health Services. Our group has submitted many formal complaints on your behalf, therefore you are automatically co-complainants regardless of your employment status with the GoA.
MyAPSChoice will be filing a group legal action against the GoA. Therefore, in some instances, depending on your “affiliation” with the GoA, you may need to seek personal representation for litigation purposes. Civil litigation claims are different than formal complaints. Litigation includes Statement of Claims and personal affidavits seeking compensation for damages caused by (for example) harassment, discrimination, loss of wages, loss of employment, or reputational harm.
If you are a current GoA employee and member of MyAPSChoice, you may at your discretion seek advise in advance from the MyAPSChoice lawyer for a personalized litigation or wait for the group call out (class action) by email. The MyAPSChoice legal fund donations has providing you with the ability to ask for this legal advice pro bono.
If you are not a GoA or AHS employee and would like to seek legal advice and protection, our MyAPSChoice lawyer has set up a website just for you!
